CASH DONATIONS NEEDED
It’s fantastic news that we have achieved so much with so little funding.
We are now in a strong position to challenge TfL’s claims at the Inquiry in
September.
However if we are to continue campaigning to oppose the Thames Gateway
Bridge on behalf of residents we desperately need further cash donations.
The St. Michael’s Residents’ Association, who have donated £1500 to date,
have set up a bridge account which is over-seen by the SMRA Treasurer.
However we are running out of money fast and many of us are personally
bearing the cost of telephone calls, postage, ink, travelling expenses as
well as immense amounts of time attending meetings, wading through documents
and collating evidence for the Inquiry.
The funds made available by Ken Livingstone cannot be used for local
campaigning or expenses and have been used to commission independent
consultants reports.
We are immensely grateful for all the moral and practical support we are
receiving from residents but will struggle to continue further without
financial help. If you feel you are able to make a donation please send a
cheque made payable to SMRA Bridge Fund c/o Mrs J.Wise at 42, BERKELEY
AVENUE, BEXLEYHEATH, KENT DA7 4UA.
